                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE INTERIM
                   ADMINISTRATOR OF THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC
                   WORKS TO CONTRACT WITH EUGENE BOWMAN,
                   APPRAISER, TO PERFORM AN APPRAISAL OF EIGHT
                   (8) TRACTS PLUS TWO (2) ADD-ON TRACTS
                   RELATIVE TO INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENT/
                   REALIGNMENT OF HURRICANE CREEK ROAD AT EAST
                   BRAINERD ROAD, FOR A TOTAL AMOUNT NOT TO
                   EXCEED FIVE THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED AND NO/100
                   DOLLARS ($5,500.00).
                  
                  
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That the Interim Administrator of the
       Department of Public Works be and is hereby authorized to 
contract
       with Eugene Bowman, Appraiser, to perform an appraisal of eight
       (8) tracts plus two (2) add-on tracts relative to intersection
       improvement/realignment of Hurricane Creek Road at East Brainerd
       Road, for a total amount not to exceed $5,500.00, which amount
       includes $4,000.00 for the appraisals, and $1,500.00 for
       appearance in court as an expert witness if necessary.
